The New York City Department of Investigation found that the attorney group known as the Bronx Defenders permitted rappers Uncle Murda and Maino to shoot parts of their “Hands Up” video in their offices.
The DOI report notes that the criminal defense firm that receives about $20 million in public funding annually.The video was released, initially on YouTube, by World Star Hip Hop, back in December. The video came on the heels of grand jury decisions regarding the deaths of Eric Garner and Michael Brown.
